The City of Tulsa offers greenwaste pickup service at the curb.
On Tuesday, Sept. 5, the City will announce plans to start the third excavation at Oaklawn Cemetery as part of the 1921 Graves Investigation. Site preparation will last a few days, and when complete, the full excavation will start.

Mayor G.T. Bynum, Tulsa Parks officials, and community partners gathered September 29 to announce plans to build an inclusive playground at Whiteside Park, 4009 S. Pittsburg Ave. When completed, this new playground will be one of the most inclusive play spaces in the state of Oklahoma.
The Greater Tulsa Area Indian Affairs Commission is accepting nominations through Sept. 1 for its annual Dream Keepers Awards. Winners will be announced in November.
