City Hall and other City facilities will be closed Friday, July 3, to observe the Independence Day holiday – since July 4 will be a Saturday. Also, Thursday, July 2, will be the City of Tulsa’s furlough afternoon, with the same closures in effect as on furlough Fridays.

Vision 2025 Project: Route 66 Historical Markers Installation in Progress

Over the next three weeks, workers will be installing historical markers at 29 locations along Route 66 in Tulsa. The signs will feature tourist-oriented narratives and historical photos to guide you along a trip on the Mother Road.

Each year in the month of August, Tulsa utility customers have the option to change their enrollment status in the EMSAcare program. They may choose to opt in or opt out of the program. EMSAcare is a subscription program by EMSA (Emergency Medical Services Authority) that covers the costs of emergency medical ambulance transport for all permanent members of households that participate in the program. EMSAcare subscribers either with or without health insurance pay no additional out-of-pocket costs – such as co-payments or deductibles – for emergency ambulance services.
