After four days, the second test excavation for graves from the 1921 Race Massacre at Oaklawn Cemetery concluded. A sanitary sewer rehabilitation project on South Utica Avenue between East 24th Place and South Troost Avenue is scheduled to begin Monday, March 11. Traffic on Utica Avenue will be limited to one lane in each direction at this location. This project is estimated for completion in two weeks, weather permitting.
