Applications open for second round of Emergency Rental Assistance Program in Tulsa County

Restore Hope Ministries has been selected by the City of Tulsa and Tulsa County as the lead agency to administer $19.6 million in critical federal funding to provide much needed rent and utility relief to Tulsa City and County residents. The Emergency Rental and Utility Assistance Program (ERAP), under guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, will help landlords and tenants by paying past due rent, utilities (water, gas, and electric) and, in some cases, forward rent for up to three months to ensure housing stability.

Chamberlain Recreation Center to be Renamed

Mayor G.T. Bynum, Councilor Hall-Harper, Jane A. Malone and the Tulsa Parks and Recreation Dept. will hold a building dedication and reopening celebration at Chamberlain Park, 4940 N. Frankfort Ave. on Sat., Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. to formally rename Chamberlain Recreation Center to the Jane A. Malone Center in Chamberlain Park.

City Leaders Announce Plans for Improve Our Tulsa Renewal

This summer, the citizens of Tulsa will have the opportunity to fund a $609 million capital funding package that will not raise taxes but extend Improve Our Tulsa by an additional four years and could help fund necessary improvements at City facilities and sites while also providing capital funding for public safety equipment and street maintenance.

City Selects Award-winning Architecture Firm for Greenwood Cultural Center Renovation

After a recommendation from the Greenwood Cultural Center Board, Mayor G.T. Bynum selected the Moody Nolan / JCJ Architecture team to lead the Greenwood Cultural Center’s renovation project. Moody Nolan will oversee the design and serve as a cultural adviser for the renovations, JCJ Architecture will be the local architect of record.
