Waterline Work Scheduled June 15, 16; Projects to Affect Traffic

Water Distribution personnel are scheduled to repair a leak in a 6-inch waterline at 1301 S. Boston Ave. and 1301 S. Baltimore Ave. on Wednesday, July 15 and Thursday, July 16. The work is scheduled between 6 p.m. July 15, and 6 a.m. July 16. During this work, traffic on South Boston Avenue will be limited to one lane in each direction between East 13^th Street and South Baltimore Avenue. 

Also on July 16, Water Distribution personnel are scheduled to work on a 12-inch waterline at 6148 E. 51^st St. Work hours will be between 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. During this work, the eastbound curb lane on East 51^st Street will be closed just west of South Sheridan Road.
