Tulsans Invited to Participate in 918 Day Passport Challenge on Saturday, Sept. 20

9/15/2025

As part of 918 Day activities this week, Tulsans are invited to participate in the 918 Day Passport Challenge, which will happen this Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The challenge takes the place of the 918 Day Scavenger Hunt and will focus on guiding participants through Tulsa's destination districts.

As part of the activity, Tulsans will get to visit eight destination districts (along with two bonus districts) to collect stamps to be entered to win a 918 Day Giveaway. All participants are asked to wear Tulsa gear throughout the day, which could include past year's 918 Day shirts, Tulsa flag gear, or any other Tulsa-themed clothing.

The winner will be announced the following week.

Core Destination District Stops

Bonus Stops

Participants will be asked to first visit one of the core destination district stops (above) to pick up their Passport Card, get their stamp, and interact with local businesses.

Because Passport Card supplies are limited, participants can download and print a Digital Passport Card online to bring to the first stop of their choosing at: www.cityoftulsa.org/918Day

Destination Districts do not have to be visited in order, but the last stop should be the Pearl District at Tulsa Parks' Handmade Market at Veterans Park. At this location, participants will receive their last stamp, hand over their passports, and get entered into the giveaway. The Handmade Market is Tulsa Parks’ first market of its kind with more than 120 local vendors – so participants who arrive before 6 p.m. can stick around and enjoy the event.

To double the chance of winning, participants can visit the two bonus stops (listed above) and take a selfie as described. Selfies can be shown to the staff at the Handmade Market to get entered into the giveaway drawing twice.

Monroe On the Go

Each stop highlights the Mayor’s commitment to Tulsa, supporting our youth and schools, celebrating community and uplifting the local businesses that make Tulsa special. During the trip, Mayor Nichols will be documenting his journey throughout the day.

Shop Tulsa
While the City does not maintain an exhaustive list of local discounts, many Tulsa businesses will be offering 918 Day-themed deals this year. Keep an eye out for sales and offerings at your favorite small and local businesses.
