Tulsa Sobering Center, the City of Tulsa’s jail diversion program operated by Grand Addiction Recovery Center, is continuing to serve those who suffer with alcoholism or other addictions while connecting them to opportunities for long-term counseling and substance abuse treatment rehabilitation programs.
In 2022, Tulsa Sobering Center served more than 700 people.
Instead of bringing someone to jail for public intoxication, Tulsa Police officers are able to bring someone to Tulsa Sobering Center where they can detox, get services, and go on their way without going through the criminal justice system or having the incident on their record.
