Are you looking for a safe and fun Halloween activity this week? Tulsa Parks has multiple opportunities for trick-or-treaters of all ages!
On Saturday, October 21, the third annual “Sparky’s Spooktacular Trunk or Treat” will occur at McClure Park, 7440 E. 7th St., from 1:30 – 4 p.m. This free event is open to all ages and will include a costume contest, food trucks, and trick-or-treating.
On Tuesday, October 25, participate in a Halloween Flashlight Candy Hunt at Reed Park, 4233 S. Yukon Ave., at 7:15 p.m. Kids are encouraged to wear costumes and search for candy in the dark. Be sure to bring a flashlight.
On Friday, October 27, there will be a Halloween Carnival for the younger trick-or-treaters at Whiteside Park, 4009 S. Pittsburg Ave., from 6 to 8 p.m. This carnival is limited to children ages eight and under. Activities include a costume contest, carnival games, and food trucks.
Also, at Whiteside Park, on Saturday, October 28, Halloween is going to the dogs from 10 to 11 a.m. Bring your pup to the Howl-O-Ween celebration, including a dog costume contest and a doggy treat scavenger hunt.
And rounding out the Halloween festivities on Tuesday, October 31, a Halloween Carnival will be held at Lacy Park, 2134 N. Madison Pl., from 6 - 8 p.m. Music, fun, and games will be for kids of all ages.
