Tulsa Parks to Host First-Ever Handmade Market at Veterans Park

9/18/2025

Tulsa Parks will host the inaugural Handmade Market on Saturday, September 20, from 10 AM to 6 PM at Veterans Park, 1028 E. 6th St.

The first-of-its-kind event will feature over 100 local vendors showcasing a diverse range of handcrafted goods, including jewelry, pottery, textiles, art, skincare products, candles, woodwork, and more. Food trucks will be on-site throughout the day.

The Handmade Market is free to attend and open to all ages. Families, friends, and neighbors are invited to enjoy a full day of shopping local, dining local, and celebrating Tulsa's vibrant creative community.

"This is an exciting new tradition we're starting for Tulsa," said Anna America, Director of Tulsa Parks. "The Handmade Market is all about celebrating our city's makers and connecting neighbors through art, creativity, and community."

With its debut, Tulsa Parks hopes the Handmade Market will evolve into an annual tradition that showcases Tulsa's arts and small business communities while also attracting new visitors to the city's parks.

A 918 Day Celebration
The Handmade Market will also serve as the final stop of the 918 Day Passport Challenge, part of Tulsa's citywide 918 Day festivities. Participants will travel through Tulsa's destination districts to collect stamps on their Passport Cards. The last stop will be at the Handmade Market in the Pearl District, where participants can turn in their completed passports and be entered into the 918 Day Giveaway.
