Tulsa Municipal Court will host a "Clear Your Warrants" event this Saturday, March 2. This event aims to help individuals with unpaid traffic and parking citations clear their outstanding fines and avoid additional fees or warrants. You can attend the event from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Municipal Court, located at 600 Civic Center, 2nd floor.

The event aligns with the Resilient Tulsa Strategy, which is designed to provide Tulsans with the necessary resources to overcome barriers and succeed.

If you have outstanding citations, you can either pay your fines in person or request to appear before a judge and establish a reasonable payment plan if you are unable to pay the total amount. If you have received a citation for no/expired tag or no/expired insurance, you must bring proof of current, active status insurance to be eligible for a low-or-no-cost dismissal.

If you wish to see a judge, you can do so from 8-11 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. on March 2. In-person payments can be made at Municipal Court, located at 600 Civic Center, 2nd floor.

The Municipal Court understands that some individuals may face financial difficulties while paying their fines. There are options available to them, such as requesting a Cost Hearing with a judge at the municipal court. The judge will evaluate an individual's financial situation and determine if they can set up a payment plan. In some cases, the judge may refer the individual to the Financial Empowerment Center (FEC) for additional assistance. The FEC offers a free one-on-one session with a financial counselor who can provide guidance on financial management. Upon completion of three sessions with the FEC counselor, the individual will be eligible for a waiver of $250 in court fines and fees.

We prioritize the needs of all individuals and are committed to providing a welcoming environment for everyone. If there are any specific accessibility concerns or additional assistance required, we encourage visitors to contact Municipal Court staff beforehand.
