Tulsa Animal Welfare Pushes Adoptions; Additional Adoption Locations Available

Tulsa Animal Welfare (TAW) is partnering with Humane Society of Tulsa (HST) to showcase dogs from TAW that are at HST and will be at multiple upcoming adoption events.  

Recently, HST has been helping with intakes from TAW, and TAW needs the public’s help as work continues to manage shelter capacity and ensure dogs find healthy and happy homes. 

Residents can meet adoptable dogs at the following locations: 

Tulsa Animal Welfare 

• 3031 N. Erie Ave. 
• 2 – 6 p.m. daily  

Humane Society of Tulsa­­­­­ (Adoption Center) 

• 6232 E. 60th St., Tulsa 
• Hours for adoptions: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday 
• Fee: $75 per dog (TAW fee honored, which includes vaccinations, heartworm prevention, microchip and spay or neuter) 

HST will also be at the: 

Greater Tulsa Home and Garden Show 2023 at Tulsa Expo Center  

• 4145 E. 21st St. 
• March 9 – 11, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. 
• March 12, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.  

Kilkenny’s – St. Patrick’s Day block party/adoption event 

• 1413 E 15th St. 
• March 17 - ALL-DAY event on Cherry Street
