The temporary mulch site at East Latimer Street and North 89th East Avenue, where Tulsa area residents have been dropping off tree debris from the June 18 windstorm, will close at the end of the day Thursday, Sept. 7, at 5:30 p.m.
Then on Friday morning, Sept. 8, the City’s main mulch site at 2100 N. 145th East Ave. will reopen at 7:30 a.m. The schedule going forward for the main mulch site will be Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The mulch site will be closed on Sundays.
At the City’s main mulch site, Tulsa, Tulsa County, Broken Arrow, Jenks and Bixby residents who present a utility bill or manifest and their driver’s license may drop off tree debris and other greenwaste for free. The mulch site will no longer accept anything over 24 inches in diameter. Mulch also will be available for pickup, with new mulch arriving Sept. 11.
