A street rehabilitation project on East 41st Street between South Lewis Avenue and South Harvard Avenue is scheduled to begin on April 5. Also included in the project is the intersection of 41st Street and Lewis Avenue. Traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction in the work area.
Access to all businesses will be maintained and marked with blue “Business Access” signs. City street projects show how sales taxes and property taxes are funding road improvements. Tulsans are encouraged not to avoid construction areas, but to support the area businesses throughout the construction project.
This project includes construction of a bus drop-off lane for Edison Junior High and High School. Besides street rehabilitation, this project includes replacement of waterlines.
The City of Tulsa has contracted with Crossland Heavy Construction for this $5,653,103 Improve Our Tulsa project. Completion of the project is scheduled for April 2022.
