A street maintenance microsurfacing project on East 91st Street from South Sheridan Road to just east of South Memorial Drive will continue this week on Monday and Tuesday nights, Aug. 27-28. The project is scheduled for completion by Wednesday morning, Aug. 29.
Work will begin at 8 p.m. Aug. 27, and will continue through the night until 7 a.m. Aug. 28. The process will be repeated at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, into Wednesday morning, Aug. 29. Traffic will be restricted to one lane during the work hours, and then the road will reopen to two lanes of traffic each morning.
Microsurfacing consists of adding a top ½-inch of asphalt to the surface of the road.
