A stormwater drainage project for the Residence Inn Downtown under construction at 202 W. Fifth St. will begin on Monday, March 5. Completion is estimated in 30 days.
For the first two weeks of the project, traffic at the intersection of South Denver Avenue and West Sixth Street will be limited to one lane in each direction, and northbound lanes on Denver Avenue between Sixth Street and Fifth Street will be closed.
For the second two weeks of the project, the northbound lanes on Denver will reopen, but traffic on Sixth Street will stay limited to one lane in each direction. Southbound traffic on Denver Avenue between Fifth Street and Sixth Street will remain open throughout the project.
