Storm Sewer, Repaving Project to Begin Monday, Aug. 26, on Boston Avenue between Archer Street and Reconciliation Way

On Monday, Aug. 26, a stormwater drainage improvement project will begin on North Boston Avenue between East Archer Street and East Reconciliation Way. This project includes installing storm sewers to minimize local flooding and repaving two streets:

• Boston Avenue between Archer Street and Reconciliation Way
• Reconciliation Way between Boston Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

During work on each street, one lane will be closed, and traffic will be limited to one way. At the start of the project, the northbound lane will be closed on Boston Avenue, and traffic will be limited to southbound only. On Reconciliation Way, the eastbound lane will be closed first, and traffic will be limited to westbound only.

Then the work will move in the reverse direction, with Reconciliation Way switching to eastbound traffic, with the westbound lane closed. The project will end up back on Boston Avenue again, with the southbound lane closed, and traffic limited to northbound only.

Completion of this project is scheduled for late October.
