A second community visioning public workshop about the Vision Tulsa project: Arena District Master Plan will be held Tuesday, July 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Tulsa Community College Metro Campus Thomas McKeon Center for Creativity, 910 S. Boston Ave.
This second workshop will include interactive stations highlighting various themes of the project, such as market opportunities, placemaking and programming opportunities, connectivity, land use development and strategies to advance each.
The 30-block Arena District in west downtown Tulsa has boundaries of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad to the north and west, Boulder Avenue to the east, and 11th Street to the south. Goals of the Arena District Master Plan include the following:
The Arena District Master Plan process has begun to assess the current state of the district, evaluate the potential of public infrastructure investments, identify opportunities for private development, and provide a phased roadmap for future decisions.
