The City of Tulsa’s Second Annual ‘Tools for Schools’ supply drive for Tulsa Public Schools teachers will begin Monday, July 23, and continue through Friday, Aug. 3. Tulsans can drop off items at all Tulsa Fire stations to help supply teachers for the upcoming school year.

District 5 City Councilor Karen Gilbert and other City officials will be at Fire Station No. 4, 524 W. 12th St., at 10 a.m. Monday to accept supplies and will be available for media interviews at that time.

“Let’s all team up across the city to show our Tulsa teachers we support them,” said Councilor Gilbert. “It might not seem like much, but it would mean the world to them. Let’s help our teachers help our kids have a successful school year.”

The supplies that Tulsa teachers need most include the following:

Supplies collected will go to the Tulsa Public Schools Foundation and be made available to teachers for pickup after Aug. 3.
