The City of Tulsa has launched an online self-service portal for permit applications to create a new customer experience that will allow developers and sub-contractors to conduct all of their permit business online.

The new self-service portal is available only for new permits filed on or after April 30, once the system is live. Applications and active projects initiated prior to April 30 will be handled in the same way as before, through their completion. A table was provided to our customers in e-newsletters and on the Permitting web page over the last two weeks, to illustrate how projects will function during this initial transition period:

Mayor G.T. Bynum said, “I am committed to implementing processes and programs that will make it more efficient and convenient to develop in and do business with the City of Tulsa. This new online self-service technology is intuitive and convenient – and removes the need for developers to come to City Hall and the Permit Center unless a face-to-face meeting is needed to solve more complex issues.”
