A mill and overlay paving project on East 61st Street between South Lewis Avenue and South Harvard Avenue is scheduled to begin Monday, April 15. During this project, traffic will change to one-way, eastbound only, for the first half of the project, and then change to one-way, westbound only, for the second half of the project.
This project consists of milling, or removing the old surface of the road, and then repaving with asphalt for a new surface.
The City of Tulsa has contracted with Becco Contractors Inc. for this $578,000 Improve Our Tulsa project. Completion of this project is scheduled for the end of May, weather permitting.
