Conversation Series to bring focus to major challenges and opportunities facing Tulsa
Mayor Monroe Nichols and City leaders are continuing the Community Conversation series with three additional meetings this month. These events give residents an opportunity to discuss some of the most important issues facing Tulsa today, including public safety, homelessness, youth outreach, essential services, and other key priorities.
The last meeting focused on essential and daily services. The upcoming Community Conversation on Tuesday will focus on Children, Youth and Family Outcomes and will be hosted by Mayor Nichols. Panelists will include Executive Director of ImpactTulsa, Ashley Philippsen; Chief Resilience Officer Dion'trae Hayes; Executive Director of The Opportunity Project, Lauren Sivak; and Karen Tilkin, Executive Director of CAP Tulsa.
The next event will take place Tuesday, Oct. 21, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Tulsa Tech Lemley Campus' Client Service Center, 3638 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa, OK, 74115.
The Community Conversations series is taking place across Tulsa throughout the month of October. Each event highlights a specific topic area, and is being held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the following locations:
Following the presentation and panel, residents will have the opportunity to visit and engage in one-on-one conversations with City officials, including department heads and elected leaders.
