It’s your last chance to give input about the plan for Tulsa Parks’ future.
After nearly a year of developing a 10-year master plan, the Tulsa Parks Team is putting the final touches on a master plan that focuses on growth, expansion, and how to better serve the community.
When completed, the master plan will create a blueprint for where Tulsa Parks can improve, how to grow responsibly, and what programs and recreational activities our community needs.
Tulsa residents are invited to provide their final feedback during a public forum on Tuesday, August 10, at 6 p.m. at Central Center, 1028 E. 6th Street, Tulsa, OK 74120.
The meeting will be held in person, and live-streamed on the Tulsa Parks Facebook page, @TulsaParks.
Residents who would like to attend in person are encouraged to RSVP online.
Unvaccinated attendees are asked to wear a mask or face covering while inside a Tulsa Parks facility. If you have additional needs or questions, contact tulsaparks@cityoftulsa.org.
GreenPlay, LLC is leading the master plan project, with survey and data work done by RCC Associates. In February, 40,000 households in the City of Tulsa received a mailed postcard and survey. Responses from these residents helped comprise a statistically valid sample. An open-link survey allowed other Tulsa residents to provide feedback. The researchers also included those responses in the final analysis. While the open-link survey results were kept separate from the statistically valid answers, these responses also provided valuable feedback for the City of Tulsa.
