Water Distribution personnel are repairing a 12-inch waterline that broke today at 1100 S. Garnett Road. The waterline break caused the traffic signal to malfunction for northbound traffic at the intersection of South Garnett Road and East 11th Street. Traffic Operations personnel are repairing the traffic signal, to bring it back as soon as possible.

During this work, northbound traffic on Garnett Road at 11th Street is limited to one lane. The waterline repair is estimated to take about 10-12 hours. No customers are out of water because of the break.

After the waterline is repaired, the street also will be repaired. The lane closure will remain until the street is fixed. The street repair is scheduled for completion early next week.
