July 6, 2018 - The Water & Sewer Department’s Water Distribution Division will begin an investigation for a water leak on a 36-inch line at the intersection of East 61st Street and South Yale Avenue beginning on Sunday, July 8, at 8 a.m. The work also will be coordinated with a street repair at the same location. The work is scheduled for completion by 8 a.m. July 13.
Some lanes will be closed during this work, and traffic on 61st Street will not be permitted to turn left on Yale Avenue from either direction.
No customers will be out of water during this project.
