Inspection of 21st Street, 71st Street Bridges over Arkansas River Scheduled for Sept. 6 – 9; Work to Affect Traffic

Inspections of the undersides of the 21st Street and 71^st Street bridges over the Arkansas River are scheduled for Sept. 6-9. The 11^th Street bridge has been inspected today. 

The City of Tulsa has contracted with the Garver Engineering firm to inspect under the bridges using a “snooper truck.” During this inspection, lane closures will be the outside lanes where the inspectors are working. The schedule is listed below: 

Wednesday – Thursday, Sept. 6-7: 21^st/23^rd Street bridge 
Friday – Saturday, Sept. 8-9: 71^st Street bridge
