Tulsa Animal Welfare (TAW) seeks the community's help finding loving homes for cats and dogs this holiday season. As part of the "Home for the PAWlidays" campaign, all adoption fees have been waived throughout December to encourage residents to adopt a furry friend.
The shelter is committed to finding homes for all their animals, and this holiday season, they need the community's support more than ever.
"Our furry friends deserve a warm and loving home, and we want to make that happen for them," said Sherri Carrier, Animal Shelter Manager. "We hope the community will join us in spreading holiday cheer and giving our pets the gift of a loving home."
Residents are invited to view all available pets for adoption at www.cityoftulsa.org/TAW or www.24petconnect.com. As part of the campaign, the shelter, 3031 N. Erie Ave., will host an Open House on Saturday, December 9, from 2 to 4 p.m., where residents can tour the shelter, meet the team, check out TAW's adoptable animals, or drop off pet donations.
To celebrate the holidays, TAW will feature a foster pet each day on their Facebook page as part of the "12 Days of Foster Dogs" from December 1 to 12.
If you want to help Tulsa's neediest pets, you can become a pet foster parent. To get more information, please send an email to TAWfoster@cityoftulsa.org or apply through tinyurl.com/FosterTAW.
