As part of a street rehabilitation project that began about a month ago on East 101st Street between South Yale Avenue and South Florence Avenue, East 101st Street will be closed to all traffic between South Louisville Avenue and South Jamestown Avenue from May 30 until mid-August.

In mid-August near the time when school starts again, traffic between Louisville and Jamestown avenues will change to one westbound lane. Other sections of one-lane westbound traffic will be added throughout the project.

A left-turn lane will be added at Louisville Avenue, and a right-turn lane will be added at Jenks Middle School just east of Florence Avenue. Sidewalks will be added on the north side of 101st Street. Completion of the project is scheduled for the end of February 2018.

The City of Tulsa has contracted with Becco Contractors for this $5,180,000 project, funded by the 2008 General Obligation Bond Issue (Fix Our Streets).
