Are you a nature enthusiast who loves spending time outdoors? If so, you might be interested in volunteering at the Oxley Nature Center. On August 4 and 5, Tulsa Parks is hosting a “Volunteer Rendezvous” event where you can learn more about volunteer opportunities at the center.
During each event, experienced volunteers and Tulsa Parks’ Interpretive Naturalist staff will be available to provide information about different volunteer roles, such as becoming a volunteer naturalist, serving as a visitor center host, or assisting with land and trail maintenance. Afterward, attendees can take a walk on the trails to soak up the area’s natural beauty.
The “Volunteer Rendezvous” event will host two sessions on August 4 and 5, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The same information will be shared at both sessions, so you only need to attend one session.
For more information, visit the Facebook pages for Tulsa Parks or the Oxley Nature Center or call (918) 596-9054 to speak with a naturalist staff member.
