The City of Tulsa is set to launch the Affordable Housing Listing Website to offer local landlords and property managers a free place to list their units, check comparable rents and reduce length of vacancy.
The waitlist service is the first City-hosted tool of its kind in the country. It offers a single-entry point for landlords and tenants to connect instead of searching multiple websites.
The goal is to make the process of finding affordable housing easier amid the pandemic and eliminate multiple applications and waiting lists. It’s important now more than ever to help landlords, along with tenants, who are experiencing financial hardship during the crisis.
Tenants from Section 8 housing, veterans’ assistance programs and more can utilize this single tool to search for their home by price point, amenity and location.
This is in part funded by Housing Solutions Tulsa in collaboration with GoSection8.
To learn more about the website and its features, a free webinar will be hosted on Thursday, November 19, at 11 a.m.
