City Hall and other City facilities will be closed Friday, Nov. 10, for the City’s observance of Veterans Day, with a few exceptions. Public safety and mission critical operations will operate as normal. Residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the following 24-hour emergency numbers: water – (918) 596-9488, and sewer – (918) 586-6999.
Residential refuse, recycling, bulky waste and yard waste collection will operate as usual on Friday, Nov. 10.
The City’s mulch site at 2100 N. 145th East Ave. will be open Friday, Nov. 10, but closed on Saturday, Nov. 11. On Sunday, Nov. 12, the mulch site will resume its usual schedule: open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. except for City holidays.
The City of Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter at 3031 N. Erie Ave. will be open on Friday. Animal Welfare Field Services will be responding to emergencies only. The Animal Welfare Shelter is open Monday through Friday from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday from noon to 4 p.m., and closed on Sunday.
Tulsa Parks recreation centers will be closed on Friday, but the parks’ outdoor facilities will be accessible as usual. Red Bud Valley Nature Preserve and the Oxley-Yetter Interpretive Building will be closed Friday, but Oxley Nature Center trails will be open.
Mohawk Park and Page Belcher golf courses, as well as Tulsa Zoo and Gilcrease Museum, will be open on Friday. The Tulsa Performing Arts Center administrative offices will be closed Friday, but the Second Street Ticket Office will open at 6 p.m. for ticket sales for the production of “Amadeus,” which will be performed that evening in the John H. Williams Theatre.
Tulsa Transit will provide its full weekday schedule of bus service on Friday, Nov. 10, and regular service hours on Saturday, Nov. 11.
