918 Day (Sept. 18) is around the corner and the City of Tulsa has a variety of options for Tulsans to get involved as we celebrate our city’s diversity and growth. The City launched 918 Day last year as part of the Resilient Tulsa Strategy, which calls for increasing social cohesion by facilitating connections and community-building in all corners of the city.
This year’s theme is, “What makes Tulsa, Tulsa?” To celebrate 918 Day, the Mayor’s Office of Resilience and Equity (MORE) will host a free citywide Scavenger Hunt on Sept. 14 and Mayor G.T. Bynum will be taking his popular 24-hour Tour of Tulsa on Sept. 18. Organizations can also register their community events and businesses can register 918 Day deals and discounts on the Resilient Tulsa webpage.
To register for the Scavenger Hunt or register your community event or 918 Day discounts, visit: www.cityoftulsa.org/ResilientTulsa. The website will be updated every Friday with registered community events and discounts leading up to 918 Day.
