City Hall, Other Facilities Closed Nov. 11 for Veterans Day; Trash, Recycling Will Be Collected

City Hall, Municipal Court and other City facilities will be closed on Monday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day.
Public safety and mission critical operations, however, will operate as normal. Residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the following 24-hour emergency numbers: water - (918) 596-9488, and sewer - (918) 586-6999.
Residential refuse, recycling, and yard waste collections will operate as usual on Monday, Nov. 11. However, bulky waste will not be collected on Monday, Nov. 11, but will resume pick-ups on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
The City of Tulsa mulch site at 2100 N. 145th East Ave. will also be closed on Monday, Nov. 11. It will reopen on Tuesday, Nov. 12, to resume its normal schedule of Sunday through Tuesday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed on Wednesdays and open again Thursday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
City of Tulsa Animal Services at 3031 N. Erie Ave. will be open on Monday, Nov. 11, for its normal hours of 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The animal shelter is open daily from 2 to 6 p.m. and closed every second Wednesday of the month.
Tulsa Parks recreation centers will be closed on Monday, Nov. 11, though Tulsa Parks’ outdoor facilities will be accessible as usual. Mohawk Park and Page Belcher golf courses, as well as the Tulsa Zoo, will be open on Monday, Nov. 11. Oxley Nature Visitor Center will be closed on Monday, but Oxley Nature Center trails will be open.
MetroLink Tulsa will provide its regular schedule of bus services on Monday, Nov. 11. Attendant’s stations at Midtown Memorial and Denver Avenue Station will be closed. Normal attendant operations will resume on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
