City Hall, Other Facilities Closed Jan. 15 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day; Trash, Recycling Will Be Collected

City Hall, Municipal Court and other City facilities will be closed on Monday, Jan. 15, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. 

Public safety and mission critical operations, however, will operate as normal. Residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the following 24-hour emergency numbers: water - (918) 596-9488, and sewer - (918) 586-6999. 

Refuse, recycling, yard waste and bulky waste all will be collected as regularly scheduled on Monday. 

The City of Tulsa mulch site at 2100 N. 145th East Ave. will be closed on Monday, Jan. 15. It will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 16, to resume its normal schedule of Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and closed on Sundays.  

The City of Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter at 3031 N. Erie Ave. will be open on Monday, Jan. 15, for its normal hours of 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The animal shelter is usually open daily from 2 to 6 p.m.  

Tulsa Parks community centers all will be closed Monday, Jan. 15, including Oxley Nature Center's interpretive building. Oxley's trails will be open during Mohawk Park's hours- 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Redbud Valley Nature Preserve remains closed. 

Mohawk Park and Page Belcher golf courses will be open on Monday. Tulsa Zoo will also be open on Monday. 

Tulsa Transit will run its regular schedule of bus service on Monday, Jan. 15.
