City Hall, Other Facilities Closed for Juneteenth on Wednesday, June 19; Trash Will Be Collected

City Hall, Municipal Court and other City facilities will be closed Wednesday, June 19 for Juneteenth. Public safety and mission critical operations, however, will operate as normal. Residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the following 24-hour emergency numbers: water - (918) 596-9488, and sewer - (918) 586-6999.
 
Refuse, recycling, residential curbside yard waste and bulky waste all will be collected Wednesday according to their regular schedule.
 
The City of Tulsa mulch site, 2100 N. 145th East Ave., will be closed on Wednesday, June 19. The mulch site will reopen on Thursday, June 20, and resume its usual schedule: Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and closed on Sunday.
 
The Household Pollutant Collection Facility at 4502 S. Galveston Ave. also will be closed on Wednesday, June 19. The facility will resume its usual schedule on Saturday, June 22. The pollutant collection facility is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 to 11:30 a.m. and noon to 4:30 p.m., except for City holidays.
 
The City of Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter, 3031 N. Erie Ave., will be closed on Wednesday and then will resume its usual schedule on Thursday, June 20. The regular schedule for the animal shelter is Monday through Sunday, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. except for City holidays.
 
Tulsa Parks recreation centers will be closed on Wednesday, June 19; Tulsa Parks day camps also will be closed Wednesday. The Mohawk Park and Page Belcher golf courses, however, will be open on Wednesday. Tulsa Zoo also will be open on Wednesday.
 
Redbud Valley Nature Preserve remains closed. Oxley Nature Center visitors center will be closed Wednesday, but the Oxley trails will be open.
 
MetroLink Tulsa (formerly Tulsa Transit) will provide regular service on Wednesday, June 19.
