City Hall, Municipal Court, Other Facilities to Close Thursday, Nov. 11 for Veterans Day

City Hall, Municipal Court and other City facilities will be closed Thursday, Nov. 11, for Veterans Day. Public safety and mission critical operations, however, will operate as normal. Residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the following 24-hour emergency numbers: water – (918) 596-9488, and sewer – (918) 586-6999.

Residential refuse, recycling, bulky waste and yard waste collection will operate as usual on Thursday, Nov. 11.

The City’s mulch site at 2100 N. 145th East Ave. will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 11. On Friday, Nov. 12, the mulch site will resume its usual schedule: open Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m., except for City holidays.

The City of Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter at 3031 N. Erie Ave. will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 11, and will reopen on Friday, Nov. 12. Regular hours for the animal shelter are noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday, except for City holidays.

Tulsa Parks recreation centers will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 11, but the parks’ outdoor facilities will be accessible as usual. Red Bud Valley Nature Preserve is now closed until next spring. The Oxley Nature Center visitor center will be closed on Thursday, but Oxley Nature Center trails will be open.

Mohawk Park and Page Belcher golf courses, as well as the Tulsa Zoo, will be open on Thursday, Nov. 11.

Tulsa Transit will provide Saturday Level Service on Thursday, Nov. 11.
