City Hall, Municipal Court, Other Facilities Closed Friday, Nov. 10, for Veterans Day Observance; Trash Service Will Operate as Usual 2023

City Hall, Municipal Court, and other City facilities will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10, in observance of Veterans Day. Public safety and mission critical operations, however, will operate as normal. Residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the following 24-hour emergency number: water - (918) 596-9488, and sewer - (918) 586-6999. 

Residential refuse, recycling, bulky waste, and yard waste collection will operate as usual on Friday, Nov. 10. 

The City's Mulch Site at 2100 N. 145th East Ave. will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10. On Saturday, Nov. 11, the mulch site will resume its usual schedule: open Monday through Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and closed Sunday.  

The City of Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter at 3031 N. Erie Ave. will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10, and will reopen on Saturday, Nov. 11. Regular hours for the shelter are 2 to 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday, except for City holidays.  

Tulsa Parks recreation centers will also be closed on Friday, Nov. 10, though Tulsa Parks' outdoor facilities will be accessible as usual. Mohawk Park and Page Belcher golf courses, as well as the Tulsa Zoo, will be open on Friday, Nov. 10. Redbud Valley Nature Preserve remains closed. The Oxley Nature Center visitor center will be closed on Friday, but the Oxley Nature Center trails will be open.  

Tulsa Transit will provide its regular schedule of bus services on Friday, Nov. 10, starting a new program for U.S. military veterans to ride free. See www.tulsatransit.org
