June 25, 2018 - City Hall and other City facilities will be closed Wednesday, July 4, for Independence Day. Public safety and mission critical operations, however, will operate as normal. Residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the following 24-hour emergency numbers: water – (918) 596-9488, and sewer – (918) 586-6999.
There will be no residential refuse, recycling, yard waste or bulky waste collection on July 4. Many customers will experience a change in their collection day(s) during the week of July 4, according to the following schedule:

The City of Tulsa Mulch Site at 2100 N. 145th East Ave. will be closed on July 4. On Thursday, July 5, the mulch site will resume its usual schedule of seven days a week, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding City holidays. The Household Pollutant Collection Facility at 4502 S. Galveston Ave. also will be closed on July 4.
The City of Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter at 3031 N. Erie Ave. also will be closed on July 4. On Thursday, July 5, the shelter will resume its usual schedule: open Monday through Friday noon to 6 p.m., open Saturdays noon to 4 p.m., and closed on Sundays and City holidays.
Tulsa Parks recreation centers will be closed on July 4, but the parks’ outdoor facilities will be open, including City pools – 1 to 5 p.m. Red Bud Valley Nature Preserve and the Oxley Nature Center visitor center will be closed July 4, but the Oxley Nature Center trails will be open.
Mohawk Park Golf Course and Page Belcher Golf Course will be open on July 4. The Tulsa Zoo and Gilcrease Museum will be open on July 4, but the Tulsa Garden Center will be closed. The Tulsa Performing Arts Center will be closed on July 4, but ticket sales will be available at MyTicketOffice.com.
Tulsa Transit will not provide service on July 4.
