City Hall, Municipal Court, and other City facilities will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2, for the Labor Day holiday. Public safety and mission-critical operations will, however, operate as usual. Residents who need assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the following 24-hour emergency numbers: water (918) 596-9488 and sewer (918) 586-6999.
Refuse, recycling, and yard waste will be collected on Monday, Sept. 2. As a reminder, the only holidays when trash is not collected are Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
Bulky waste will not be collected on Monday, Sept. 2.
The City of Tulsa mulch site, 2100 N. 145th East Ave., will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2. It will reopen Tuesday, Sept. 3, and resume its regular schedule: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday and closed on Sunday.
The City of Tulsa Animal Welfare Shelter, 3031 N. Erie Ave., will be open during regular business hours on Monday, Sept. 2.
Tulsa Parks recreation centers will be closed on Monday, Sept. 2. However, the Mohawk Park and Page Belcher golf courses and the Tulsa Zoo will be open.
The Oxley Nature Center visitors’ center will be closed on Monday, but the Oxley trails will be open.
MetroLink Tulsa (formerly Tulsa Transit) will not provide bus service on Monday, Sept. 2.
