In partnership with the City of Tulsa, Tulsa Police Department and the Oklahoma Insurance Department, the Third Annual Senior Lifestyle Fair will be held at the Central Park Hall at Expo Square, 1701 S. Sandusky Ave., on Tues., May 24 from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Local, state and federal agencies invite senior citizens across Green Country to attend the event, which will focus on senior safety, protection from scams, healthcare and life enrichment. There will also be door prizes, exhibits, entertainment, and educational activities.
Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett, Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner John Doak and Deputy Police Chief Dennis Larsen will provide the welcome to the audience at 8:30 a.m. Other speakers throughout the day include: Tulsa County Special Judge Terry Bitting, Tulsa County District Attorney Steve Kunzweiler and more.
Individuals must register for the event online or by calling TPD Sgt. Alicia Maurer, (918) 596-9209. Senior groups across Tulsa have already signed up to attend, making this one of the largest crime prevention events ever held by the Tulsa Police Department.
