The Riverwood Neighborhood Improvement strategy has been created to evaluate existing unique opportunities and challenges with local leaders and community organizations to create an action-oriented plan for continued growth within the Riverwood community.
Riverwood is located between 51st and 71st Streets between Riverside Drive and Peoria Avenue. (Map).
Riverwood Survey
We received over 200 responses to our community survey and over 350 responses to our transportation survey, Thank you to everyone who participated. Your input helps us to improve and enhance Riverwood, prioritize funding, and identify projects that will have the greatest impact on improving your quality of life.
Riverwood Community Open Houses
We held three community open houses at various locations in Riverwood from March-May 2024. Thank you to everyone who joined us to share your experiences and ideas. Together, with the input we received from the surveys, focus groups, and other in-person meetings, the management team is in the process of drafting goals, strategies, and actions based on your feedback to create the Riverwood neighborhood strategy.
