Councilor Jayme Fowler

Councilor Jayme Fowler is serving his first term on the Tulsa City Council and represents the constituents of Council District 9.

A Tulsa native, Councilor Fowler grew up in District 9. He graduated from Memorial High School and went on to attend the University of Arkansas where he earned a B.S.B.A. in Finance from the Sam Walton School of Business. He has professional designations from The Wharton School (Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA)) and The American College of Financial Services (Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)). Councilor Fowler has also received a certificate from Harvard University; The Program on Investment Decisions & Behavioral Finance.

Councilor Fowler is Managing Partner at Oak Creek Private Wealth and brings over three decades of marketing, consulting and new business development to Oak Creek. Councilor Fowler’s previous experience with multibillion-dollar asset management firms include Nicholas|Applegate, San Diego, CA; TCW (Trust Company of the West), Los Angeles, CA; and Oppenheimer, New York, NY.

Councilor Fowler’s parents were lifelong educators with Tulsa Public schools, and his wife, Sandy, is a public-school teacher at McClure Elementary. In addition, he and his wife enjoy spending time with Sandy’s three grown daughters, grandchildren and dogs. Councilor Fowler believes that giving back and making a difference in the community is vital to making lasting positive change.

Councilor Fowler has served as a Board Member for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Tulsa for six years and is the President of the Memorial High School Endowment. He also volunteers his time on weekends mentoring and working with young Tulsa men experiencing homelessness.

Councilor Fowler is truly humbled and honored to serve the citizens of Tulsa and believes the city’s best chapters have yet to be written.
