Understanding Your Retirement Seminars for 2024

Registration for the 2024 “Understanding Your Retirement” Seminars is now underway. This all-day seminar is hosted by Retirement Services from the Human Resources Department with several outside companies also participating. Topics will include the City of Tulsa’s Deferred Compensation Plan (457(b) Plan,) the Municipal Employee’s Retirement Plan (MERP,) Social Security, Medicare, and Estate Planning.

Seminars are being offered virtually or in person for participants on all available class dates. In-person seminars will be held at City Hall, 10th floor, North Conference Room from 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Please register through your department registrar. If you want to attend virtually please be sure to let your registrar know to select the virtual class option and be prepared to attend by having a camera and microphone available on your device that you will be using. If you are with an entity that does not have a registrar, please contact retirement services at retirement@cityoftulsa.org.

• April 9

• July 9

• October 8
