Real Time Information Center Operational at Tulsa City Hall

Wednesday, August 2, a grand opening was held for the Real Time Information Center in City Hall. A significant milestone in the City's commitment to enhancing public safety, RTIC is helping officers in the field respond to incidents as they happen.

City Hall and other City facilities will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23, for the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be no residential refuse, recycling, bulky waste or yard waste collection on Thursday, Nov. 22. As a result, Thursday and Friday customers will experience a change in their collection schedule.

Household Pollutant Disposal Special Event Scheduled for March 30

Start spring cleaning by ridding your home of chemicals and potentially hazardous items. A Household Pollutant Disposal Special Event is scheduled for Saturday, March 30, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the City of Tulsa’s Household Pollutant Collection Facility, 4502 S. Galveston Ave. In addition to the usually accepted items, special items accepted only at this event are tires, e-waste (television - $21 fee; monitor - $10 fee), medications and ammunition. No appointment is necessary for the special event.

Work zones play a key role in maintaining and upgrading our city streets, as well as state and interstate highways. Unfortunately, daily changes in traffic patterns, narrowed rights-of-way, and other construction activities often create a combination of factors resulting in crashes, injuries, and fatalities.
