Mayor G.T. Bynum and the Community Service Council hosted more than 300 business, nonprofit, faith-based and community leaders at the A Way Home for Tulsa Strategic Planning Kickoff Thursday, February 21, 2019. Event participants learned about various causes of homelessness before an interactive feedback session. The information gathered today, along with research, focus groups and other citywide feedback tools will guide Tulsa’s most comprehensive plan for preventing homelessness.

The new Student Success and Career Center on the Tulsa Community College Southeast Campus revolutionizes the college onboarding and career process. Designed with the student in mind, the facility allows students to meet with answer center specialists, academic advisors, career specialists and local companies. The $5.3 million facility, part of the Vision Tulsa package approved by voters in 2016, is now part of the campus at 10300 E. 81st Street.
The State and Tulsa Health Departments have confirmed two residents in Tulsa County have tested positive with Coronavirus-COVID-19 from travel – one has already recovered.
