This week, the City of Tulsa is celebrating National Drinking Water Week to recognize the vital role tap water plays in daily life, the infrastructure required to carry it to and from homes and businesses, and the important - and often unnoticed - work of water professionals.
The Center for Digital Government (CDG) announced the City of Tulsa’s IT department ranked in the Top 10 of the 2020 Digital Cities Survey. Now in its 20th year, the annual survey recognizes cities using technology to tackle social challenges, enhance services, strengthen cybersecurity, and more.
On Thursday, Mayor Bynum announced Monica Hamilton will serve as the City’s new Customer Care Director. She will start work at the City of Tulsa on July 6, 2020.

Wednesday evening, Mayor G.T. Bynum presented the Proposed Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget to the Tulsa City Council.
Mayor G.T. Bynum recognized the winners of the 2020 Women of the Year-Pinnacle Awards at a ceremony in City Hall. The Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women and YWCA Tulsa present these awards annually to recognize outstanding achievements by Tulsa women.
The City of Tulsa Mulch Site will reopen Wednesday, November 17, following a closure due to a fire in the mulch piles. The mulch site will be open for drop-off of tree branches, grass and leaves only. There will be no opportunities for firewood or firewood pick up at this time.
