Friday, the City of Tulsa has lifted its voluntary boil order and is no longer asking its water customers to conserve water. Mayor G.T. Bynum presented Tulsa Blue certificates to two City of Tulsa employees during a special recognition ceremony at City Hall. Together, Chad Stall, Engineering Graphics Coordinator; and Matt Parsell, IT GIS Coordinator, and their teams developed the new and improved Engineering Atlas tool for City employees.

Tulsa’s water won the Oklahoma Water Taste Contest last week in Norman at the annual conference of the Oklahoma Water Environment Association/American Public Works Association. This win allows Tulsa’s water to advance to the next contest at the Southwest American Water Works Association conference in Lafayette, La., in October. If Tulsa water wins that contest, it would be qualified to enter the national contest in Anaheim, Calif., in June 2024.
