Today on 918 Day, Mayor G.T. Bynum and more than 40 area businesses, organizations, elected officials, educational institutions, and nonprofits teamed up to wish all of Tulsa a Happy 918 Day in a virtual tribute. Watch the Video.
Happening today, various activities will illuminate Tulsa’s resilient spirit, with various photo booths stationed at River Parks locations, a phone booth to encourage voter and census turnout, and a lit-up Williams tower that will spell out “918” tonight. Park(ing) Day activities are also scheduled along Boston Avenue, with various businesses showing their support for Tulsa.

Coloring pages, posters and social media graphics have all been made to help Tulsans celebrate. All can be found, downloaded and printed at www.cityoftulsa.org/918Day. A map of specials from numerous Tulsa businesses can be found at that same URL.
Those participating in today’s 918 Day festivities are encouraged to document their experience and post all pictures and videos to social media using the hashtag, #918Day.
Throughout the day today, the City will release a three-part “Rising Through Resilience” video series to highlight local efforts to celebrate 918 Day.
