If you have registered a team for the Scavenger Hunt, please check your email for instructions.

Tulsa’s fourth annual 918 Day (Sept. 18) is fast approaching. The day, which celebrates Tulsa’s diversity and growth, launched four years ago under the Mayor’s Office of Resilience and Equity as part of its Resilient Tulsa Strategy.

This year, a record-breaking 176 teams signed up to participate in the annual 918 Day Scavenger Hunt.

If you missed this year’s scavenger hunt sign-up, you can still “celebrate the 918” by downloading the official 918 Day graphics to your social media channels or by visiting one of our local businesses offering promotions/deals that day.

This year’s visuals feature an illustrated mosaic consisting of vibrant colors, geometric shapes, and an assortment of nature or park themed icons.

The mosaic concept represents the idea of individuals, places, and experiences coming together to form a unified yet diverse environment or scene. The intersecting and overlapping shapes symbolize connection and interaction within our community. The patchwork of colored shapes within the mosaic is like what one might see if looking down from a plane at a large piece of land. This is a subtle nod to the vast area covered by Tulsa’s parks systems.

You can download the social media graphics for your profile picture and header images.

Those participating in the 918 Day festivities are encouraged to document their experience by using the hashtag, #918Day.
