An Oversize/Overweight Load Application is required by the City of Tulsa if an Oklahoma Department of Public Safety Oversize/Overweight Permit is required for any type of movement that traverses city of Tulsa streets. Any vehicle, trailer, object and/or equipment over 16-feet-high, over 16-feet-wide, or over 110-feet-long is considered oversize and any vehicle, trailer, object and/or equipment over 90,000 lbs. is considered overweight on city streets. If your movement meets any one of the four (4) said criteria, complete an online Oversize/Overweight application.
Oversize/Overweight (OS/OW) Loads are not allowed movement one-half hour after sun down and one-half hour before sun up. No OS/OW load movement is allowed on city of Tulsa streets between the hours of 7 - 9 a.m. or between 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding weekends.

Non Travel Holidays
Any vehicle permitted for movement on city of Tulsa streets shall be allowed to move on the following holidays:
Any person, firm, corporation, limited liability company, or other entity applying for an Oversize/Overweight Load Application to traverse City of Tulsa streets shall pay an application fee as set forth:
Single Oversize/Overweight Load - $80 plus system fees. This fee is nonrefundable.
Monthly Oversize/Overweight Loads - $242 plus system fees. This fee is nonrefundable.
Monthly Application - Multiple movements (using the same truck and trailer) within the same calendar month must have the same or lesser load dimensions (i.e., height, width, length and weight). This includes having identical axle configurations and spacings (unless 80000 lbs. or less) and using the same city route. This Monthly City Application is only valid if each separate OK State permit is uploaded into the associated City account before each movement during the approved calendar month (e.g., May, June, etc....not 30 days). .
The application process may take two (2) business days depending on the load and route (not including the one-day first-time online account registration review). Once the City application is reviewed and approved, the OK State application will be approved to continue the State application permitting process.
