Volunteer opportunity description:

We are searching for a videographer with equipment to film room reveals. We plan to construct customized rooms for six children in 2019. The videographer would be available on the construction day, ideally at the beginning of the day to document the room in its "before" state and later in the day to document the "after" state and to capture the expressions of joy and amazement by the child and parents upon first seeing the new room. 

Our plan for the footage is to share with local broadcast news, host on our social pages and to store as archival footage to help explain our mission to potential donors and parents.

Rooms With A Heart, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose principal purpose is to develop and construct customized rooms for children with critical illnesses. The Organization is supported by local and national businesses, corporations, and individuals. These supporters generally provide a team of volunteers to help with the decorating and completion of each child’s room. 

Please provide your own equipment, as we do not have a digital video camera. While we may provide the raw footage to the news stations to expedite coverage, we ask that you have some editing experience to package the video for social feature.

Physical demands: you'll need to be able to work in tight spaces and work in sometimes low-light settings.
